JOB SUMMARY – LINE COOK: We are in search of experienced Line and Prep Cooks who can meticulously prepare food according to the chef's precise instructions and proficiently set up stations for our menu items. Line Cooks will collaborate closely with the executive chef to support their daily responsibilities. The ideal candidate will make a significant contribution to ensuring our customers' satisfaction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Organize and stock stations with all required supplies.
  • Prepare ingredients for service, including tasks such as chopping vegetables, butchering meat, and preparing sauces.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to cook menu items.
  • Follow and report on instructions provided by the executive Chef.
  • Thoroughly clean the station and manage leftover food appropriately.
  • Maintain inventory levels as needed.
  • Ensure that dishes are served simultaneously, meeting high-quality standards, and adhering to timely service.
  • Adhere to nutrition, sanitation regulations, and safety guidelines.
  • Maintain a professional and positive demeanor while interacting with coworkers and customers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience working as a Line Cook or in a similar culinary role.
  • Possess a strong foundation in cooking techniques, including knife skills, grilling, sautéing, and various cooking methods relevant to the cuisine.
  • Understand and adhere to food safety and sanitation standards, including safe food handling, storage, and preparation.
  • Depending on local regulations, candidates may be required to have certifications in food safety, such as ServSafe or equivalent.
  • Maintain an organized and clean workspace, efficiently manage multiple tasks, and work well under pressure, especially during busy service times.
  • Possess the physical endurance required to stand for extended periods, lift heavy kitchen equipment, and work in a high-temperature environment.
  • Be flexible and adaptable to changing menu items and the demands of a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and superiors, following instructions accurately and clearly.
