SUMMARY:  The Food and Beverage Supervisor plays a pivotal role in smooth and efficient daily operations, ensuring that guests receive exceptional service in F&B department functions.  This role combines leadership, customer service, and operational oversight to create a positive guest experience.

This Front-Of-House Supervisor position does not 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Train and supervise employees to ensure that they are performing their jobs correctly
  • Monitor employee productivity to ensure that goals are being met
  • Coordinate employee schedules, including shift changes and absences
  • Oversee inventory of food and beverage supplies, ordering new items as needed
  • Maintain sanitation standards by monitoring employee compliance with company policies regarding cleanliness
  • Manage employee payroll by reviewing time cards and processing paychecks
  • Assist in interviewing, hiring, and training new employees as needed
  • Establish budgets for food, labor costs, and other expenses related to running the business
  • Provide customer service by answering questions about menu items or suggesting items based on customer preferences
  • Other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2+ years proven experience as food and beverage supervisor or similar role
  • Excellent people skills with a customer service orientation
  • Proven leadership abilities
  • Up-to-date with food and beverages trends and best practices
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure
  • Food safety certification (we can assist in new or updated certifications)
  • Should be able to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed
