JOB SUMMARY:

The Admissions Host will be responsible for successful operation of greeting guests, ticket sales, rental sales, and activities sales. Within this role you will perform indoors and outdoors duties.  The ideal candidates will exhibit exceptional customer service skills and promote a positive attitude.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Sell lagoon tickets, rental products, special events tickets, gift shop merchandise, and other products as required
  • Check in guests and residents of the lagoon as well as monitor the re-entry process
  • Ensure guests follow company bag check rules
  • Clean your assigned work area as needed for a strong opening, closing, and maintain throughout the day
  • Clean and reset rental areas throughout the day and for closing responsibilities
  • Assist with maintaining lawn games and lending materials to guests
  • Accept, log, and maintain the park's lost and found by adhering to all procedures
  • Assist guests with any questions or concerns onsite and via phone
  • Use a walkie-talkie radio to communicate with other team members and leadership
  • Ensure proper handling of all cash, credit cards, and gift cards
  • Assist guests in parking area as needed
  • Adhere to all safety policies to ensure guests and team members’ safety
  • Demonstrate the utmost integrity in all professional and personal matters
  • Other duties as assigned, including assisting in other departments

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • HS diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 1 year of Admission Experience preferred.
  • Energetic, enthusiastic and reliable personality
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Professional manner, discretion, and appearance
  • Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Shifts may vary based on business needs
  • Ability to work outside in all-weather elements
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
